So, today was hectic!-Ish. School, then planned to visit this old lady but now she's forgetting things more so it was kind of a bum when the daughter told me that :/ Then home, then music! Music was awesome though! Piano was kewlllllllllll, steelpan was kewlllll(we're composing a song) ^_^ and guitar was awesome! learning Adele Rolling in the Deep xD. Then to dance, which was pretty kewl too ^_^ and now here I am, wondering what to do. So I went ahead with a suggestion by a friend to count all the plaits in my hair. Seeing that so many people stopped me asking what was wrong with it, (my response being- nothingggggg, It just poofy! ) lol and also because sometimes I really wonder, how many plaits are in my hair! So I decided to count. I plait em in groups of 20 to be safe-ish. Can you guess? :D

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I rel eh do my school work yet x_x haha but besides that. Today, I decided to sew! After I had to put a bunch of stuff in my Mary Poppins Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious bag(it actually says that) I realised once again, i don't want this bag to mash up any time soon! So I decided to make one my self. Butttttt instead of just being simple and using one set piece of cloth, I went multicoloured and patterned x_x Including Doubling extra cloth below to make it stronger ^_^ It took me awhile, because I had to clean my machine down, dust, wipe etc, then everytime I got down into it my Dad want chips fried, then some for me, then my Mom decide she want, then my brother say he like he in a slave family and is the maid that eh get no food x_x So I ended up doing for everyone! Then who want watermelon, de dog untie! *sigh* lol But here it is anyway.
And after several failed attempts to get a full length picture I just put it on my head, lol ^_^

1. Don't spin the wheel thingy too quickly or you'd bend your needle!
2. Flipping over the handles for home-sewn bags, are hard :( especially if your handle isn't thick!

I sense a lame blog post :/ lol but YAYYYYYYY 2 WEEK MARK! *feels proud of self* I OFFICIALLY declare last week and this weekend to be THE MOST UNPRODUCTIVE school week since the new term :/ I literally did no work, no studying! All my plans to got sidetracked or put on hold for other people and things. Much like today. I hoped to do plenty work today, perhaps finish the manga I started the other night, tidy my room, sort out my books and folders, but instead I spent my entire morning helping by brother to cater a meal for over 150 people -__- So I guess that was new? Not really, I did catering during the vacation, but it was different from my usual Sundays so it counts!
Cooking fried rice and chilling with zi moms ^_^
And in addition to that, I steamed my hair with avocado and coconut oil ^_^ Twas so noice and curly!
Looks kinda gross doesn't it? lol xD But I tend to be a fan of the weirder things in life! ^_^
After that, I ended up chilling with my niece and nephew who swung by(1 yr and 4yrs(almost for bother of em) respectively) Ain't they cute! ^_^
That kind of sidetracked my plans of washing my hair after an hour, probably turned into two! But oh well. After that, I ended up picking cherries with my mom and my sister's friend x_x
And so I only just finished washing my hair and styling it. Finalmente!
So this is de style fuh de week! rocking them extra tiny plaits i did in my hair NORMEL NORMEL! Lol xD
So I guess I did a couple new/different things today :D
1. Cater
2. Avocado and coconut oil hair treatment! ^_^
3. Pick cherries(havent done that in months x_x)
4. Not do any work(lol no that's actually a norm so it doesn't count) hahaha I don't think this school teng is fuh meh nuh, lol just kidding ^_^
OOOOO! I finished with the manga! It was so touching! The last chapter was so sad, yet so sweet at the same time *wipes tear* (Don't judge me!, lol u can, but heck I don't care! When you get into a show, book, something, you Really! get into it >.<) lol xD
So in conclusion(sounding like I'm writing a chemistry lab here boi, lol) today was quite eventful! And now, I'm really hungry because I didn't eat a solid meal for the day o.O
Time to go buss down some fried rice and stew chicken and fry fish and cassava and meh brother took all de peas >.< and pie with some smalta nd teng ^_^

Zumba was my idea for my first challenge, but I had to download videos so it didn't go as I'd hoped and I put it off. My day didn't go quite exactly as I'd hoped either. I wanted to study whole morning till afternoon, then go to my drama class, but instead I got kidnapped by my brother, chilled with mah nephew, went to get a few stuff :D and foodie! ^_^
When I came home from drama and ate the 3 piece combo from popeyes I got, I had already decided yes! with all this junk, time to zumba :D
In case you don;t know what zumba is, check out Urban dictionary's definitions xD
Zumba is a fusion of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps to the tune of Latin and International music. The routine features aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning.
I downloaded a torrent called "Zumba Fitness- Cardio Party" and it was pretty cool! There's all the steps being used being broken down in separate videos, and then one full 45-50 minute length workout. I had a heck of alot of fun, although some of the moves confused me at first, like the quedabrita, and andale step, lol The Cumbia Funk is pretty cool so look it up! :) So as of now, I'm literally draineddddddd. And in addition to that 50 minute workout I did some of these from youtube and some of their other videos as suggested by zi lovely Salma :)
Oh and also in addition to these other routines, I did 200 crunches with the ab king pro o.O. Started off as 100, but I figured heck,if I did 100 in less than 5 minutes, why not do another 100, lol
So needless to say now, Iz ah tired man(its an expression? lol)

So I decided tonight I'd read manga. I read one or two like years ago, and they were all right-ish. I thought about Naruto, then bleach but when I got to onemanga.com, i couldn't read it.. And I also asked myself, what if I really like it? I have exams to focus on! I can't get too sidetracked with too many things, I mean Glee is already a hobby haha ^_^. But i stumbled upon another called "Boys Next Door", a shounen ai anime, Which when translated means Boys and Love, I think o.O How I end up on that??!?! lol.
Well I found another site to read it on, and read the 1st chapter. And IDK WTH IS HAPPENING IN DA MANGA! Somebody is ah prostitute, ah man, and he running away, ah teacher, Greg tell Vicky somethinggg. I don't know what went on nah!, lol
So I searched onemanga again, and found one called "Absolute Boyfriend"
Basically, it's about a girl, with a flat chest, who is always being rejected by guys and she's afraid she'd never get a boyfriend and die alone. Then she finds a cell phone ringing in the street, answers it, meets the person to give it, who offers to give her something out of his appreciation. And she says fine I want a boyfriend. He then proceeds to give her a tape, to go on a url on it, and she finds this "lover shop" site, where she can get the perfect boyfriend. There was a "free trial" you return in 3 days, so she signed up out of "curiosity" Then the next day, a giant box is by her door, a naked gorgeous boy falls out, cold, no pulse. She calls the "shop", they tell her to read the "user manual" o.O. She followed the instructions and kisses him, he wakes up and smiles and says hi girlfriend, basicallyyyyyy. So like uhm, WHAT? lol Is manga yes, who say it hadda make sense? Seems interesting, I think I'd actually read the other 32 chapters, lol Much better than trying to read the over 400 chapters for Bleach or Naruto!

I was chatting with my awesome Nigerian/Ukranian friend Daniel last night(big up yuhself inno! ^_^), and he suggested I write about how still the city is early in the morning. I thought about it, but really wanted to actually be in the moment to write about it, so I put off that idea for a new challenge. But strangely enough, I woke up between 4:30-5:00 am this morning even though I went to bed past midnight. And I stayed up too, exercised and stuff ^_^ So I decided heck, why not write about what he suggested? :) And this is what I scribbled at 5:am this morning!
Early morning, it's so majestic. It's quiet, it's still. No hustle and bustle but only the sound of the birds whistling and chirping outside, beckoning you to awake and come take part in this wonderful creation. Nature's personal wake up call. And no matter what, they all chirp so enthusiastically, or at least that's what their ritualistic, innate signals seem to us. It's that one moment, where in the blink of an eye, you close your eyes briefly and already the darkness begins to wane. All of the clouds that were hidden in the dark of the night, are shown boldly in the light, reminding us of the weather that helped to keep us comfy the previous night, as we cuddled up in our sheaths. The air is cold but inviting. Then on by one, the lights flicker on in someone's window, a stove is lit, the radio comes on, cars are approaching the highway, and the groans and moans of the sorrowful voices that regret waking up the hour they've been blessed to experience, are felt throughout. And though the sun remains hidden behind the clouds, it's presence and impact is made known across the horizon, as the sky slowly, but surely brightens, revealing what only moments ago looked simply as a glossy leaf, to the translucent droplets of dew that rest upon it. It's chilly, but you could feel it getting warmer. The birds continue to sing their songs; and as the time goes by, and the noises of the world intensify, you can tell it's a struggle, a battle, for their songs to be heard above it all. But for those moments, you feel at peace, with yourself, with nature. Which is yet still providing, sheltering and nurturing us, though we reward it's kindness with devastation. It's easy to get caught up in the hustle of the world, forgetting these simple inexpensive things. It's a domino effect, as you begin to take on every little issue, worry and unease, triggering other negative emotions, and you yourself through the day without stopping to just be still, and appreciate the beauty of the world. But when and if you do, you're reminded about God's breathtaking creation, and for those moments, that you can even carry for the rest of your day, you find peace. :)
